Producer, co-writer. mixer and guitarist.

Music Producers Guild AWARDS 2024 NOMINEE.

Larry Hibbitt is a founding member of emo pioneers Hundred Reasons, who were instrumental in bringing the genre to the mainstream in the early noughties, selling over a quarter of a million albums in the process. As a producer/writer he has worked with Nothing But Thieves, Sundara Karma, Sea Girls, Saint Raymond, The Snuts, Boston Manor, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Bloxx, Sophie and The Giants, Marmozets and many, many more.

Larry has a holistic, hands on approach to making records; he uses a hybrid of both “in the box” and traditional analogue production techniques to create a unique sound palette, which whilst being occasionally irreverent and frequently experimental, always respects the song. He works out of his private studio/toy shop, The Beehive, in leafy Hertfordshire - just 25mins by train from central London.

Larry was nominated for “Best Producer” at the Heavy Music Awards 2020 for his work on the Dinosaur Pile-Up album “Celebrity Mansions”

Larry has been shortlisted for best “Self-Produced Artist” at the Music Producers Guild awards 2024 for his work on the Hundred Reasons album “Glorious Sunset”
